‘The Stage Awaits’ – WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022 with vintage-inspired illustrations by Mads BERG c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO
Wimbledon Championships is the name that describes the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. In Wimbledon, a district of London, the Lawn Tennis Championships are held each year in summer for the duration of two weeks. Danish illustrator Mads BERG c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO was commissioned this year to illustrate the eye-catching posters with a vintage look.
“As an artist, as a tennis fan, and as a person, I am super happy and humbly honored to be able to decorate the most charming of sports events, and to service the Championships with my poster art for 2022,” says Mads.
The posters are part of the ‘The Stage Awaits’ campaign in 2022, one of many initiatives in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of what is referred to as the Centre Court.
