FOREAL are known for humorous storytelling using intensely colorful visuals, and among their clients are brands such as Google, Snapchat, Adobe, Spotify, Ikea, Swatch, ZDF, and many more. We present you their latest showreel 2022. And meet FOREAL live together with the team from ANALOG/DIGITAL (Warsaw/ Munich) on 25 May ‘22 at UPDATE-22-BERLIN.
FOREAL – a design studio for illustration, animation and art direction in Trier, founded in 2013 by Benjamin Simon and Dirk Schuster. It has meanwhile grown into a team of eight creatives and serves a broad spectrum of international clients in a wide variety of industries, including advertising agencies, big tech companies, magazines and publishing houses. The focus is on creative conception and the production of key visuals and animation. The CGI studio covers a broad range of styles and wouldn’t want to be pigeonholed into just one aesthetic genre.
Also seen in the showreel is the work for KLARNA. “We teamed up with our friends from DOJO Berlin to develop a playful, lush and quirky campaign for KLARNA. Every few months, Klarna is going to melt-down the prices of items from people’s favorite brands. We show objects from different retailers melting into smooth puddles of dreamy and colorful beauty.”
FOREAL c/o ANALOG/DIGITAL presents us their summer campaign for LG and Studio Monoloque here on GoSee. “In this vibrant film, our clumsy dad shows us all the features of his gigantic, brand-new LG Instaview Fridge. In a second commercial, he presents a wider range of LG products which can be purchased during Mediamarkt’s Brandweek.”
Plus, FOREAL presents us their animation for SWATCH and TRUTH AF. “We teamed up with Alex Trochut to create this animation as part of truth.af – an ongoing series of typographic animated one-word poems. Scrolling through Instagram, the feed becomes a never-ending display of perfection: beautiful people with flawless skin, toned bodies in perfectly curated scenarios; life as a never-ending rom-com. It seems disconnected from “real life,” and devoid of truth. But something else hides behind the fake veneer, squeezed into the corset of modern beauty standards: a body with flaws and scars.”
“We created a set of short animated films and key visuals for Chupa Chups. The campaign’s primary goal is the launch of its latest flavors on the Vietnamese market.” (advertising agency : Dentsu Redder).
