ZWILLING celebrated the 2018 Soccer World Cup with five friends and models by BRÜDERCHEN & SCHWESTERCHEN
The Soccer World Cup photos for ZWILLING were created at a studio in Flingern, and a day later, Kathrin, Peter, Arthur, Stefan and Leanne went to Nettetal. Shot in a giant, idyllic garden were motifs to fit the topic "BBQ with friends".
"It was a great two days," says Peter, who was allowed to wear the jersey on the World Cup photos. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep it, "but then I participated in Gemini's Instagram competition again," he laughs. He didn't win there either. The five models from BRÜDERCHEN & SCHWESTERCHEN got along great right off the bat, they talked and laughed a lot, so that they didn't have to hardly pose to stage a World Cup TV evening or a picnic with friends.
The focus for ZWILLING was mainly on the presentation of the food. "A food designer whom photographer Oliver often works with was on location all the time," says Kathrin. The fresh salad was draped and served on the plates until it looked perfect. "You couldn't eat it anymore though," Kathrin laughs, who found out during the shoot that Zwilling also has glasses, bowls and trays on the program in addition to their famous knives.
Even Peter's beer was a Pils from the bottle – but the foamy head had a little help from ice snow. The photos show how great the models harmonize as a clique of friends. And even if winning the title didn't work out in 2018 – it was a lot of fun for everyone involved, and winning isn't everything.
