‘Your Opinion is Important to Us’ & ‘A Marvel of Engineering’ – new surreal works by Erik JOHANSSON c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO on GoSee and at an outdoor exhibition in Baden
‘Your Opinion is Important to Us’ is the name of the new impressive work by Erik JOHANSSON c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO. The creative loves the surreal and manages to captivate people from all corners of the globe with his bizarre motifs.
Erik tells us about his work : “Who listens? Really listens? So much to be heard, so much to be said. Photographed out in the open with the stairs and people there, the funnel is about 1/4th of the size you see there and shot on location, and scaled up. The ear is a realistic, natural size silicone mold I ordered online and shot in my studio with matching light and perspective.”
Also new is the work ‘A Marvel of Engineering’. Erik tells us : “The idea of an impossible bridge has been following me for a long time, and I’ve already done a few variations of impossible bridges. This is however the first time I have managed to integrate them into an environment.”
Plus, his works were just on display in China, at the Swedish Institute in Paris (GoSee reported) and are still on show as part of the Festival La Gacilly-Baden. “At the moment, there is an outdoor exhibition of my work in Baden, Austria, just outside of Vienna, and it is still open through 16 October!
