Michelle Elie, well-known fashion collector, was born in Haiti and grew up in New York. She worked as a model for ten years before moving to Cologne on the Rhine in 2000. Today, Elie works as a stylist for various magazines and designs jewelry for her namesake brand. She is known the world over as one of the most competent collectors of fashion from Comme des Garçons, and is married to designer, artist and curator Mike Meiré, with whom she has three children.
