New at GoSee is DIRK WEYER. Dirk Weyer Photography + Motion creates complex imagery for still life photography & motion for international clients such as Rimowa, Porsche, Versace, and Lufthansa Exclusive. Dirk works from his own studio in Hamburg, offering in-house post production services and project management.
At the Cannes Festival 2018, his campaign motifs entitled 'THE CHAIR' for IKEA were just awarded a Silver Lion (Outdoor Category). Dirk Weyer photographed the motifs for thjnk Berlin and loved Hamburg. "Why spend a lot of money for a chair when it is covered by all your stuff, and you can’t even see it anymore?" So far the idea behind “The Chair”. Creative direction came from Karl Wolfgang Epple and Matthäus Frost with art direction by Marie-Therese Humer. The chairs were styled by Marina Melentieva.
Dirk Weyer has already received several awards for his work, including – besides the aforementioned Cannes Lions – also the ADC, EuroBest, IF Design Award, D&AD Awards and the prestigious Clio Awards. We bring you a first insight into his work on GoSee – and you can find more on dirkweyer.com.
