Welcome new entry at GoSee, photographer Manuel Ferrigato. His clear but empathic visual language pierces monotonous facades and formulates authentic people and nature scenes. Consequent face-to-face portraits and landscape shots with sophisticated perspective reflect his connection to his roots. The photographer from Brixen studied industrial design in Milan. Afterwards he moved to Hamburg where he learned his trade as an assistant.
Manuel has a very versatile portfolio: transportation, landscape, portrait and sport. He has been working and living in between Hamburg and his home in South Tyrol for six years.
For five years he has portrayed world famous mountaineers and alpinists for his ‘The Mountaineers’ series. With his razor sharp poetry he sees the landscape in the expressions of the mountain climbers. They stand proud next to geological formations - authentic and without make-up.
An advertising campaign for the IMS - INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN SUMMIT mountain festival as well as an exhibition, which has travelled through South Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, has arisen from this project and has thus already reached a wide audience.
PHILIPP UND KEUNTJE commissioned him to carry out the LAMBORGHINI accessories catalogue shoot in Bologna. This proved to be an exciting and versatile job, which saw him produce staff portraits, classic still life images and atmospheric car motifs.
Manuel shot curvy streets in Spain for AUDI and captured the New York atmosphere in very ambient lifestyle images. Once again Manuel worked with Philipp und Keuntje on this project.
He carried out advertising motifs for POLO and GOLF and travelled to the VW showroom in Verona with art director Gabriele Salomone from DDB Italy.
The ‘One Day/Reckoning Song’ remix by Wankelmut was on the top of everyone’s playlist last year. Manuel shot the cover image.
