What are you wearing? The editorial for MR ICON on the topic of ‘New Dress Code’, due to meanwhile socially acceptable home office looks brought about by the pandemic, was photographed by MAX VON TREU with style in his old building appartment in Berlin. In front of his camera stood German male top model Lars Burmeister – naturally, clad in absolutely perfect looks.
Editor-at-Large was Tom Junkersdorf, and casting was taken care of by Dominik Wimmer, with styling by Daniel Satore and grooming by Steffanie Willmann. Digital support + post came from BLINK IMAGING. MAX VON TREU is represented by Munich-based representation Kathrin Hohberg. With Mr ICON, ICON expanded its portfolio in October 2018 adding a new magazine for men. GoSee : iconmagazine.de

About MAX VON TREU
It was at the tender age of six when he was given his first snapshot-camera that Max von Treu, born in Munich in 1979, started showing interest in photography. Things got a little more serious when he got his first proper camera at the age of 17. It was love at first sight and a never ending array of snap shots, taken during early travels around the world. After graduating in Munich, Max decided to move to London to study mixed media arts at the University of Westminster. His main focus was filmmaking at first and it was only after he finished his studies and while assisting various fashion photographers that he discovered his passion for fashion and portrait photography. His professional career as a fashion photographer began when he was 25. Max is currently based in Berlin and Munich shooting for clients around the world.
