“We are delighted to kick off the New Year 2024 with a new entry : Welcome aboard DOMINIK BAUR!” ROCKENFELLER & GÖBELS.
For more than a decade, photographer and director Dominik Baur, whose home base is in Zurich, and his team have successfully realized advertising photos and key visuals for international companies. Besides smooth production, he is particularly known for the conception and development of innovative photographic concepts.
Dominik loves the contrast between light and shadow. He likes to draw inspiration from natural light moods and color nuances, often combining ambient light with artificial light on set to give the scenery the dynamic he is looking for.
Time after time, he skillfully depicts his subjects in an approachable and authentic way, always treating them with the fullest respect and empathy, which can be seen in his work. He draws inspiration from simple everyday situations and his numerous travels. His curiosity paired with an openness towards others enable him to constantly explore new approaches in his work.

International fashion photographer PER APPELGREN photographed the new CHANEL Cruise Collection in Paris as a special plus a cover for L’OFFICIEL Thailand in an issue themed upon the big topic of ‘Fashion’s New Freedom’.
A cruise collection is an inter-season or pre-season line of ready-to-wear clothing offered by major fashion houses alongside their recurring seasonal collections brought out twice a year.
The models in front of the camera were J Moon c/o Select Model Paris as well as Bella Kim c/o Premium Paris, both cast by Whitecasting. The hairstylist was Eduardo Bravo, and makeup came from Yin Liu. Styling was taken care of by Atinan Nitisunthonkul, and retouch was in the hands of Spanish Studio White Retouch.

PER APPELGREN photographed the December cover for COSMOPOLITAN Netherlands with Dutch influencer and YouTube star Selma Omari.
Born 1994 in Morocco, Selma is a singer, YouTube personality and musician from the Netherlands. She launched her own fashion and lifestyle channel on YouTube, which she uses, for instance, to broadcast films about her life as a Muslim woman. She began producing films for her YouTube channel on 26 March, 2016. Meanwhile, she has a whopping three million views to show for and 119,000 subscribers she keeps quite entertained.
The shoot was supported by Creative Director Aixa Sulay as well as stylist Amber Aste, with hair by Sophie Wortelboer, makeup by Jimmy Stam and post production by Colorworkz.

Shooting this kind of a road movie with the new GENESIS Black Edition in Croatia this summer was quite challenging, as we are told by director PETER SCHREIBER. But you know what they say : All that counts is the result – and this one’s definitely a must-see !
“The new trend of combining a luxury SUV, like the Genesis GV70, with the glamping lifestyle of iKamper roof-top tents gave us, and the creative team, a lot to talk about and play with…” says Peter Schreiber, director & photographer.
The luxury automobile brand Genesis is a subsidiary of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai and was founded in 2015. The Genesis GV70 is the second SUV after the larger GV80 and is manufactured only in Ulsan, South Korea.

SASKIA VAN DEN BOOM is now represented by MRS. ROBINSON. Coming from the area of communication, her focus at first, after studying photography, was mainly on portraits and reportages for her (social) clients.
Her portraits and reportages are up close and intimate. Saskia documents social topics that are close to her heart. With her photos, and the texts she writes, she would like to grant viewers insight into the lives of others and show what connects us.
Her photos and stories have been published in Het Parool, PS, NRC, AD and Vice. Last year, she was voted Gup New Talent of 2022. Her portraits of young people were featured in Gup New, a book showcasing the top 72 aspiring Dutch photographers.
