Valentino, Marc Cain, Max Mara, BOSS, Prada, Karl Lagerfeld, Jil Sander, Victoria Beckham, H&M Studio, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, … French top model Ophelie Gillermand stood in front of the camera of Alex Waltl for a studio production in ELLE Germany. Styling was taken care of by Fashion Director Pia Leonie Knoll. ONE HUNDRED BERLIN took care of post production : “We couldn’t get a better fashion inspiration than this for the stylish summer in the city!”
After Alex Waltl completed his education as a photographer in Stuttgart, he first went to New York for three months, where he assisted photographers such as Annie Leibowitz, Russell James and several others in the years which followed. As a consequence, he was offered a full-time position in London as an assistant to Mario Testino, one of the world’s most sought-after photographers. Shortly after that, he became his first assistant and traveled around the globe with Mario over the next six years, producing large campaigns and photographing for the most renowned magazines. Since 2018, Berlin has been his home.
