With its latest campaign ‘Cote du Soleil’, lifestyle brand NEUBAU EYEWEAR presents a sustainable homage to endless summer. It was photographed by Nickolas Lorieux for Kemmler + Kemmler with Art Director Philipp Hollinger. On the job for props + accessories was the team from Hanne Evans Production Services Int Ltd, an expert when it comes to the south of France.
Serving as the location was the idyllic mountain village of Saint Paul de Vence near Nice and the Cote d’Azur. The vicinity to Cannes frequently drew stars of the silver screen in the 1970s, but artists such as Matisse, Calder or Picasso were also guests and have left their legacy in the form of sketches and paintings...
“The Côte d’Azur is precisely where Jacques Deray also found the ideal location for his iconic film, ‘La Piscine’, which was shown in movie theaters in 1969. Played by Romy Schneider, Alain Delon and Maurice Ronet, its protagonists are in search of this same sense of freedom, found above all in living out their sensual fantasies. This elegant-sensual casualness paired with a feeling of freedom and the courage to go down a new path however risky it may be, is also reflected in our special collection Côte du Soleil,” says NEUBAU Eyewear.
NEUBAU stands for designer eyewear with a story to tell. All eyeglasses are designed, developed and manufactured in Austria. The brand name pays homage to international creative hotspots like Vienna’s Neubau district located in the vibrant heart of the Austrian capital.
