American baker Cynthia Barcomi came to Berlin in 1985 as a dancer. She is an entrepreneur, baking expert, book author, TV celebrity and mother of four. She studied philosophy and theater sciences at the famous Columbia University in New York, which Barack Obama also attended several years later, and worked as a dancer before turning her passion into a profession in her new home town of Berlin by bringing 1990s American coffeeshop culture to Germany.
