‘Be brave. Stay soft.’ – When TOMMY HILFIGER asked photographer Jana GERBERDING c/o BIRD PRODUCTION if she wanted to collaborate on the international campaign ‘Moving Forward Together’, Jana jumped at the chance. “Hilfiger has collaborated with wonderful talents from all over the world on this international project, and it was very exciting to be part of it. And we got to work with Mogli!” says Jana. And that her longtime girlfriend Isabelle THIRY, also c/o BP, was on board for styling, is of course the cherry on top. The campaign was produced by CCCP, aka CLAAS CROPP Creative Productions.
Singer-songwriter Mogli XY, who lives in Berlin, dedicates his work to getting people to be friendlier to others and the environment. Singer-songwriter, filmmaker, designer, activist - as a creative multi-talent, Mogli uses her own vulnerability to inspire compassion in others, and uses her platform to do good : “Community is everything to me. We can’t be there for ourselves alone. We can’t always have our own backs. It’s okay to lean on others.” Mogli, born 1994 as Selima Taibi in Frankfurt/Main, is a German musician known, among other things, from the film ‘Expedition Happiness’, created on a trip across North America in an American school bus rebuilt by hand. The soundtrack of the film features her songs.
We quote Tommy Hilfiger : “As we stand at one of the most pivotal moments in history, we must move forward together to build a future for the next generations,” says Tommy Hilfiger. “I am proud that our Spring 2021 collection is represented by such an incredible and diverse group of people who embody this message. Throughout the season and beyond, I am confident that they will inspire fans to drive meaningful, long-lasting change.” The campaign was realized by local photographers in Los Angeles, New Jersey, London, Paris, Berlin, and Hainan.
