Thomas SCHORN photographed the global launch campaign of the HANKOOK iON tires. Together with Hankook Creative Lead Lars Heberer, several assets including a film have been produced at sunny Lake Como. Unlike the usual focus on cold technology, this time, emotional driving pleasure is front and center.

Specially developed for electric vehicles, this tire family is marked not only by high performance but also by a considerably stronger sidewall, which compensates the higher weight of modern EVs, as well as notably lower rolling-noise characteristics and higher resilience.

As one of the world’s leading original equipment manufacturers of electric vehicles from premium car brands, the Hankook development engineers have already documented their expertise in this demanding segment many times over. Original equipment tires from Hankook optimized for electro-mobility are already being used by Audi, BMW, Porsche, VW and other leading brands.
