A 70s vibe meets a carbon fiber body, retro-futuristic interior, and exclusive Galactic Brown paint. Transportation specialists HE & ME celebrate the Renault R17, the unique, electric restomod show car by designer Ora Ïto.
"We produced a wonderful mix of 4x5" Polaroids and digital images in various looks – but in the end, they all had to live together again." HE & ME on the absolutely stunning result. The Art-Beauty-Fashion-Automotive series was produced in Paris.
The R17 launches with an ultra-modern design and a 270 hp (199 kW) electric motor, which not only offers a sexy range of 400 km but also guarantees an unforgettable travel experience thanks to an optimized dashboard, new fabrics, sophisticated door panels, and revised seat upholstery.
The word "restomod" is a combination of "restoration" and "modification" and describes the art of combining classic automotive design with modern technology.

About HE & ME
After we met in 2003 as assistants on a trip in the world-famous Friedrichshafen in southern Germany, we thought it can hardly get any better. Isn‘t there a line in a song, if you make it there you´ll make it anywhere. We probably thought so and from then on we drove and flew together to all the big and small Friedrichshafens on our beautiful planet as a team.
A few years, photos, weddings, kids and good experiences (and yeah, also grey hairs) later, Tom and Yona still enjoy touring together as HEckl and MEnnemann, trying to combine their passions and talents.
