SALLYHATESWING photographs the conscious fashion campaign ‘Hey Beautiful’ for ROHDE SHOES

For the relaunch and rejuvenation of the brand ROHDE SHOES, the company chose the fresh and young visual language of Sallyhateswing, aka Sarah Schmid & Philipp Johann. The focus during the shoot was on the core topics diversity, joy and inspiration.

The shoe label tells us : “We make conscious fashion. Our shoes are designed with love in Germany and manufactured with care in Europe. Which is why conscious customers have put their trust in ROHDE now for more than 150 years. Diversity is our strong suit. We want to inspire you to be open, conscious and authentic – for a more mindful mutual experience and a more beautiful future. BE OPEN.”

Comfortable materials. Straightforward looks. Lots of natural flair and solid colors. A desire for intimacy and openness is met by warm natural tones and casual cuts. Comfort is king – whether at home, in the home office or at work. In front of the camera stood models Milva Spina, Simon Peters, Jenni Ladell, Koro Boni Hideyoshi, Rahel Chiwitt. The video came from Jan Weyand in a production by Benchmarked. Photo assistant was Jan-Hendrik Dreyer. We have the result from the shoot for you here on GoSee, and several more looks are available via ROHDE SHOES.

Closer to Nature – SALLYHATESWING produces photo and video content for jewelry label COEUR DE LION

COEUR DE LION is a leading manufacturer of stylish designer jewelry from Germany. The brand was founded in 1987 in Stuttgart by Carola and Nils Eckrodt, and the Head of Design is Carola Eckrodt. Sallyhateswing produced photo and video content for the Fall/Winter 2021-22 collection in Majorca and the south of France. Styling of models Alexandra Lübke, Klau Coba and Anna Avila came from Sarah Schmid c/o Sallyhateswing, with hair & make-up by Melanie Bulu c/o Nina Klein Agency.

COEUR DE LION, known for its Cube line, now also features round jewelry : “Brand new to the collection are genuine freshwater pearls. Alongside an increasing number of natural stones, COEUR DE LION presents its first Pearl Edition. This conscious design choice is inspiring: Natural products contain all of Mother Nature’s colors, making every piece of jewelry one of a kind.”

As early as the 1980s, young designer Carola Eckrodt already experimented with industrial pieces and used them to create jewelry. A famous couturier was impressed by her unconventional creations at first sight. He purchased the entire first collection – which marked the beginning of the COEUR DE LION success story. Today, jewelry by Carola Eckrodt can be found in all corners of the globe. Together with her design team, she has followed her own vision for thirty years: graphically reduced designs meet finest quality materials and unusual color combinations again and again in new ways.

Today, COEUR DE LION delivers timelessly beautiful jewelry designs Handmade in Germany to jewelers in more than 25 countries. With a clear design language and a lively joy of color, the company has succeeded in making COEUR DE LION one of the few brands recognized immediately by customers. At the same time, it is increasingly invested in digital brand building. The brand is regularly honored with awards, such as the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD in 2018, followed in 2019 and 2020 by the GERMAN BRAND AWARD. Founded in 1987 and continuously expanded, the brand stands for joie de vivre through democratic luxury. In Stuttgart, there are meanwhile more than 150 employees from 31 countries, including 145 women.

For the jewelry of COEUR DE LION, only the finest quality materials are used. These include stainless steel 316L, crystals from Swarovski® and real gemstones such as amethyst, aventurine, hematite, onyx, rose quartz, carnelian, amazonite, smoky quartz and tiger’s-eye. COEUR DE LION also sets the highest standards when it comes to manufacturing. Several production steps are still lovingly executed by hand in the Stuttgart studio. Model Niina Rätsep c/o Iconic with the spread ‘Backyard Diaries’ appearing in ELLE Hungary – photographed by SALLYHATESWING

‘The Princess and the Pea’ is one of the most famous fair tales by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen and was the inspiration for the editorial ‘Backyard Diaries’, photographed by SALLYHATESWING for ELLE Hungary.

Model Niina Rätsep c/o Iconic Management embodied the sensitive princess, who, however – quite different than the fairy-tale princess – didn’t have to pass the pea test laying on twenty mattresses and twenty eider-down beds, but was able to have dreamlike fun on the finest of bedding. The beautiful Estonian model was photographed in a secret garden. Styling: Cäthe Klein c/o Ligawest, hair & make-up: Melanie Bulu c/o Nina Klein Agency.
