At the end of 2021, RECOM teamed up with Kai-Uwe Gundlach to begin producing CGI for BMW’s new 7 Series and X7 models (agency: THE GAME). Photos for both vehicles were shot in Spain, on the Canary Islands, in Brazil and Mexico.

In parallel to the international shoots, RECOM and up to 15 CGI/post artists started to produce the total of eight vehicle derivatives via CGI and creative retouch in a little less than three months to deliver well over 200 high-res assets.

‘This Is The Life’ is the title of the new GOLF, which features digital innovations, dynamic design and tangible operating comfort. For the agency DDB Germany with Creative Director Marcel Krempin and Art Director Marco Lemcke, Kai-Uwe Gundlach photographed lifestyle-esque motifs spanning all generations. What’s the common denominator? The thirst for innovation, for adventure, for life. Production was in the hands of WIDE PRODUCTION. 

The VW Golf VIII is the eighth generation VW Golf. It was presented to the public in the car city in Wolfsburg on 24 October, 2019, and has been in German VW dealerships since December 2019.
