Illustrator Andrea Ucini is looking forward to the first show at the legendary Rankin studio in North London. Born in Italy, and currently living and working in Denmark, Andrea Ucini’s work takes a cross-cultural look at intimacy, emotion and expression. With a signature sense of humor and a nod to the surreal aspect of human nature, he continuously strikes just the right chord.
Ucini’s illustrations are internationally renowned, and he not only collaborates with brands but also with charity organizations and the world’s biggest publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Die Zeit or even New Scientist… The first cooperation with 360-degree agency RANKIN took place for the book ‘How to Die Well: A Practical Guide to Death, Dying and Loss’ (Rankin Publishing) in 2021. Rankin was immediately drawn to the “softness and yet emotional strength” in Andrea Ucini’s work and offered him this exhibition to personally present his work to the broader London art scene.
